Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Trebanog

Mouchak

25 Mill St, Tonyrefail, Porth CF39 8AB, UK – 01443 673028

We have been going here for over two years and the food and service have been of a consistently high standard. Mo,Ali and the rest are first class and always accommodating. Do book at weekends essentially holiday periods. Prices are very reasonable. All in all an excellent find , far better than its location might suggest.

Really great food and very inexpensive. Staff are great. The restaurant and toilets are clean. Take away and home delivery. This by far, the best indian restaurant in the valleys. Parking is easy. Gets very busy at weekends.

Dylan's Cafe Bar & Steakhouse

Porth St, Porth CF39 9RH, UK – 01443 683822

I spent a few days in Porth visiting friends. They had booked a table at Dylan's. I found my time there very enjoyable it was very busy but was very well organised. We had a fabulous sirloin steak. The staff were marvellous, excellent service and very good value for money. Plus I was told the food is all local produce

The Fulling Mill Stonehouse

Mr Speakers Way, Tonypandy CF40 2PS, UK – 01443 430060

So there we were. 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan. An appealing choice on the menu for our vegan, albeit limited to 3. We made our order, having to change it as they hadn't been able to get the Mediterranean Tart for months. There it was Vegan Pizza or Mac and cheese. We choose the former, together with a vegetarian carvery and a goats cheese & red onion chutney wrap. Both of these two came with unlimited 'chips and salad bar'. In the end they didn't have any vegan cheese, so that ruled out the two remaining vegan options!! Therefore my daughter had chips and vegan friendly gravy. Lauren, the assistant who served us we VERY apologetic, helpful and polite. It would have been a 4-star rating had the vegan options been available. We will return.

We were looking somewhere to eat in the late evening around 9pm. Most of the places around didn't served as the kitchens close quite early in the area. Someone told us about this place and we went there to check if we can get a dinner. A local resident in this pub was having a carving and it was looking very nice. We follow his advice and got the same. And what a nice surprise. Very nice food. Plenty and delicious. Don't forget to get a dessert as well - it is good. Nice sfaff. Free parking. Will I visit it again - Yes, definitely. Recommend place to eat if you are in the area.
